Conversion Brake Boosters
TOYOTA LANDCRUISER model HJ75 and HZJ75 brake booster upgrades
A common complaint with these vehicles is the lack of pedal feel and inadequate stopping distance. Often these vehicles struggle to meet roadworthy standards for braking performance.
The standard single diaphragm booster loses it’s efficiency and combined with sluggish vacuum pumps and lack of reserve is not up to the task of stopping these heavy vehicles. NBS have designed and tuned a bolt on replacement twin diaphragm booster that fits with minimal modification.
Stage 1 upgrade
Part Number PW7049R
Changeover Twin Diaphragm Booster, a first stage upgrade. Suitable for fitment to petrol vehicles, also diesels but vacuum supply needs to be checked to ensure it is adequate for new booster.
Stage 2 upgrade
Part Number PW7049R-T
Changeover Twin Diaphragm Booster with external chassis mount vacuum tank, all fittings and vacuum hose. Recommended for diesel vehicles that are subject to heavy loads.
Stage 3 upgrade
Part Number PW7049R-TP
Changeover Twin Diaphragm Booster, Vacuum Tank, all fittings, Vacuum hose and 12 volt electric vacuum pump. Our extreme upgrade, great for vehicles with Chev diesel conversions, and competition vehicles driving at low speed, low range where the engine driven pump does not supply enough vacuum.
1959 – 1960 CADDILAC Brake booster upgrade
We offer a conversion booster to replace the original Delco Moraine unit with a modern alternative. The Delco unit was of poor design from the start, and parts are notoriously difficult to source. The donor unit has readily available parts, and is tuneable to produce the optimum result.
1957 CHEV Brake booster upgrade
This is the first in our range of new original brake parts for American vehicles. We have carefully selected manufacturers that offer a quality booster manufactured to original standards. We offer both single and twin diaphragm booster options, with a variety of master cylinders. NBS have had brackets specially manufactured to be able to run these replacement boosters.

1965 – 1969 FORD MUSTANG Brake booster upgrade
Many of these vehicles were non boosted from the factory. NBS offer a complete bolt on booster and master cylinder setup for these vehicles, tailored to your customers specific vehicle and needs, We can also offer a PBR conversion booster for some of these models.
65/66 Mustang bolt on Twin Diaphram Conversion with Tandem Master Cylinder
65/66 Mustang bolt on Single Diaphram Conversion and Master Cylinder as per factory disc brake car
67-70 Mustang bolt on Twin Diaphram Bendix Booster with Tandem Master Cylinder. This booster is a copy of factory fitted 1969-70 booster and can be fitted in the place of 67/68 Midlands unit
1961 – 1962 CHEV Brake booster upgrade
Again we offer a bolt on replacement booster and master cylinder setup for these vehicles, and give you a few options to chose from, such as single or twin diaphragm, and assorted master cylinders.
